ARTIST TALK – “THE CIRCLE OF TIME” OF HA MANH THANG
With the coordination of a special guest: Ms. Natasha Kraevskaia.
The artist talk’s content is about the historical and spirit of nature symbols in the series "The Circle of Time" by Ha Manh Thang.
Ha Manh Thang's paintings have many aspects about culture and history, but they are not nostalgic. Emotional and sculptural, his artworks are as an excavation of historical and traditional stories buried for a long time, which may have implications of destruction and regeneration. Especially in the series “The Circle of Time”, he focused on nature especially spring, with metaphor of ups and downs of life. With poetic attitude describes the flow of time, memory and place, his artworks show the mighty power of nature. The artist talk will be coordinated by the special guest: Ms Natasha Kraevskaia, the researcher, independent curator and co-founder of the prestigious Natasha Salon.
