Since the launching in 1987, Final Fantasy (FF) - a legendary series of Japanese role-playing games has created a true revolution, from gameplay, graphics through each period, and especially the extremely engaging and profound storyline.
Speaking of its success, it is crucial to mention the role of the music, especially the excerpts of composer Nobuo Uematsu, who is regarded as the Beethoven of game music. His extremely flexible and rich musical style helps shape each character, location, and plot, conveying the atmosphere and true emotions of each scene in the story. Uematsu hasbrought FF music beyond the framework of a game to have a rich life of its own, with worksthat are widely loved around the world.
The concert Eternal Sound - “Final Fantasy” for piano will bring out the melodies of FF from the7th season to the 10th season through piano solo arrangements. With two pianists Dương Thạch and Phuc Phan, audiences will have the opportunity to experience classic melodies by FF in a fresh, sometimes considerably modified. In the A Tide of Emotions exhibition space, theenchanting music of Uematsu will intertwine with the world woven in red threads by Chiharu Shiota, creating a novel resonance between sound, imagery, and emotion for the listeners.
