The exhibition on Silk paintings and Small sculptures is organized by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions (DFAPE) under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in collaboration with Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (VCCA). It will take place in Hanoi from 26 Oct to 17 Nov.
The exhibition presents more than 200 silk paintings and small sculptures made by prominent artists from all over the country, those of the generations born in the 1970s until recently. Amidst a multi-perspective life of arts, this exhibition contributes to the preservation and development of silk paintings and sculpture in Vietnam, at the same time brings to the public sophisticated creative works and innovative ideas of artists.
