The ‘WINGS’ exhibition
The VCCA proudly presents the origami exhibition “WINGS”
The ‘WINGS’ exhibition is going to introduce to the Vietnamese audience the beauty and spirit of the Japanese art of folding paper called Origami. Through 52 artworks by three artists from AXA studio: Le Duc Tho, Nguyen Linh Son and Nguyen Tuan Tai - ‘WINGS’ won’t only be rich with Japanese culture and colors but will also promote imagination while letting creativity fly.
The artworks introduced at the exhibition recreate the mythical and unique world of fantastical animals such as unicorns, dragons, griffins, etc. Proving the endless creative energy that Origami can bring. A highlight is that the Origami figures all have wings - symbolizing creativity and imagination.
In that, the most notable figure is one of a giant mythical horse, being 3m tall, meticulously created by the artists in 10 days right at the exhibition. There will be time lapse videos shown of the creation of the giant artwork on 5/8/2018.
Detailed programming will be updated on the official fan page and website at: https://www.facebook.com/VCCAVIETNAM
The exhibition is open from 20/7/2018 until 15/8/2018 at the VCCA B1 – R3, Vincom Mega Mall Royal City (72A Nguyễn Trãi, Thanh Xuân, Hà Nội).
