‘True moving’ (or Deep moving) is an improvisational and expressive movement practice designed to help individuals discover their true selves. In True moving, participants listen to their bodies, focus inward, and let their imagination and emotions guide their movements in pure expression.
The goal of True moving is to create a safe environment where participants can connect and engage in dialogue with the unconscious, the emotional realm, and the deep layers of memory, allowing them to experience and understand the meanings of the symbols and images in their minds. By trusting the wisdom of the body, participants achieve a profound, holistic self-awareness that leads to self-expression, healing, and transformation.
In this workshop, dance/movement therapist Bùi Tuyết Minh will guide participants in deep movement techniques to uncover and express their true selves, connecting and awakening the body, emotions, mind, and senses in a safe and supportive space. By integrating creative expression methods, including movement, drawing, and writing, participants will have the opportunity to express themselves, explore, and engage in a dialogue with the various aspects of their own being.
