WORKSHOP "A WALK OF ART: STORY OF LINE IN PAINTING"

 

VCCA is pleased to present "A Walk of Art", a series of workshops in which you can learn the fundamental knowledge of painting through various forms such as viewing works, discussing and practicing with various topics.

 

"Story of Line in Painting", the first workshop of the series, organized by VCCA and Hino Art, explores the meaning, physical and expressive characteristics and the use of line in paintings. Led by artist and art educator Vu Do, participants will also have the opportunity to practice drawing in pencil and charcoal on paper.

Vu Do is an artist and art educator in Hanoi. He graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (Pafa) majoring in Painting. Vu Do is the leader of Hanoi Art 21, a group of young artists in Hanoi and founder of The Painter's Studio. He believes that learning and discovering art is not only about becoming an artist, but also to feel and enjoy the beauty of art and life.
