WORKSHOP "PRINTING ON LUCKY MONEY ENVELOPE"
Envelopes containing money in East Asian and Southeast Asian societies are given, most commonly, is considered as Lunar New Year gifts, symbolizing good luck and happiness. It would be really meaningful if this Lunar New Year, kids make beautiful lucky money envelopes by themselves and send them to their loved ones.
At 10:00 on Saturday (December 19), Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (VCCA) and Hoa Tam Art Center will organize the workshop "Printing on lucky money envelope" for all kids from 5 to 15 years old. During the workshop, children will learn simple method of hand printing, using pencils to engrave on soft materials and then printing on envelope with colors.
