The world around us is full of things that may seem familiar but still manage to surprise us. For example, a pen—why does it look different when it's small, big, short, long, rectangular, or round...?
Here’s a little secret: all of these differences come from our perspective and how we perceive things in space—far/near, straight/tilted, front/back, left/right, from below/above... Every shift in our viewpoint can make the image before our eyes change.
Cubist artists are highly skilled observers who not only capture different perspectives but also combine various viewpoints to depict the same subject, creating paintings that are strange, unique, and always spark curiosity in viewers. The Cubism movement is also the theme of this edition’s workshop – " Wandering in the World of Art."
Through movement exercises led by artist Minh Hải and drawing practice guided by artist Din from the Hoa Tâm Art Center, children will explore space and use their own observations and perceptions to create paintings from multiple angles and shapes. With a variety of engaging and exciting hands-on activities, the workshop promises to offer a fresh and meaningful artistic journey—an ideal gift for children on the occasion of International Children's Day.
The event is part of the " Wandering in the World of Art" workshop series for children, curated by Education Curator Ngụy Hải An, and is organized by the Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (VCCA) in collaboration with the Hoa Tâm Art Center.

She has held exhibitions in Tokyo, Kyoto, Kawasaki, Chiba (Japan), London (UK), Dublin (Ireland), and Hanoi (Vietnam). During her time studying in Japan, she also participated in and won awards at printmaking competitions.
