ZINE MAKING WORKSHOP: "THE STORY OF MY DAY"
A zine is a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images, usually reproduced via photocopier. Zine is the product of either a single person or of a very small group, and are popularly photocopied into physical prints for circulation.
Without any limitation on the subject or form of expression, zine is a great tool for anyone to document or share their story in a unique way.
At 10am on May 15th, Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (VCCA) and Hoa Tam Art Center will hold a zine making workshop with the theme: "The story of my day "- an creative space for kids to generate their ideas and discover more about themselves.
During the workshop, kids will be taught to make their own mini-zines by drawing, collage, writing, etc. The program is free for children from 7 to 15 years old. All materials will be fully prepared at the workshop.
