From January 10 to January 13, 2025, artists from Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (VCCA)’s Young Artists Incubation Program – Cao Van Thuc, Vang Hai Hung, and Vu Hoang – participated in the “ART FUTURE 2025” art fair held in Taipei City, Taiwan (China).
Cao Van Thuc, Vang Hai Hung, and Vu Hoang are talented young artists who have won many prestigious national art awards. Their works exude a contemporary essence, with unique expressions that reflect each artist's individuality, earning high praise from the art community. With youthful energy and abundant creative potential, the artists have actively engaged in various domestic art activities, garnering the interest of Vietnamese art enthusiasts.
Ms Nguyen Tra My, Director of Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (VCCA), shared: “VCCA hopes that taking part in Art Future 2025 will serve as a positive starting point for these three young artists to connect with the international art market, galleries, and collectors, paving the way for potential development opportunities in the future.”

Cao Van Thuc (1995, Hai Phong) took creative inspiration from everyday life stories and elements that stir deep emotions within him. It is his collision with life - images, perspectives, and stories - that shape his art, like passing storms, leaving behind only his distillation. Cao Van Thuc believes that creating art is a long journey, a journey of experience and self-discovery with different states of himself when facing the things he wants to express.

Vang Hai Hung (1995, Lao Cai) grew up in the northwest mountains of Vietnam, which inspired him to accumulate personal experiences about daily life, the cultural identity of the highland ethnic groups, and the very ordinary things. His artworks primarily focus on workers, grasslands, hills, cattle, poultry, and all the simple, humble things in a society or big city that is gradually fading away and is highly nostalgic. Vang Hai Hung observes and draws everything with a sincere heart to convey his concerns about the environment and the surrounding society.

Vu Hoang (1989, Hanoi) draws inspiration for his works from the familiar elements of urban life. The changes in the living environment and the relationships between people provide him with multi-dimensional perspectives, which deeply influence the conceptual ideas hidden in his works. Vu Hoang always finds ways to release energy and balance emotions through diverse materials and expressive languages in order to give each work a unique worldview.

Mr. Richard Hsueh Kung Chang, Founder and Artistic Director of the Art Future - Art Council stated: “Art Future Art Fair is an art exchange and business platform for Asian artists under 40 years old. In 2022, I was honoured to collaborate with Vietnamese sculptor Vu Binh Minh on some art shows in Taipei. This year, through Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (VCCA), we have selected and invited three young artists, Vang Hai Hung, Cao Van Thuc and Vu Hoang to participate in Art Future 2025. Not only are we impressed by the works that the Vietnamese artists brought to our events but also highly appreciate the professionalism in VCCA’s coordination and collaboration. We hope Art Future will have the opportunity to cooperate with more Vietnamese artists in the coming time.”
