Free admission, for children aged 7-12. Each child is encouraged to attend the workshop with one parent (either dad or mom).

With beautiful balls of yarn, we can create useful items or decorative objects in all shapes and styles. Not only that, yarn is also an incredibly promising and fascinating material for creating works of art. If you visit VCCA, you will see the exhibition “A Tide of Emotions” by artist Chiharu Shiota, where massive "waves" made from hundreds of red yarn rolls curve and cover the space.
Yarn will also be the primary material in this workshop. With the guidance of teachers from the Hoa Tâm Art Center, children will learn how to use yarn and apply shapes and lines to create their own paintings.
Familiar shapes and lines, which may seem simple, can become wonderful raw materials for creativity when combined and spontaneously transformed. Come to VCCA to explore and create unique works together!
