The "Waldstein" concert is part of Nguyen Duc Anh's ambitious project, "32 Sonatas of Beethoven – A Journey of Endless Creation," where he will perform all 32 sonatas of the legendary German composer Ludwig van Beethoven for the first time in Vietnam. Throughout the nine series shows, Nguyen Duc Anh will carefully select works that meet specific criteria to ensure a well-balanced project.
The Waldstein Sonata, also known as "L'Aurore," which means dawn, is a renowned musical piece that exudes positive energy and invigorates listeners. Beethoven meticulously chose its name to emphasize the profound impact that classical music can have on the human psyche. The "Waldstein" Piano Recital will showcase four of Beethoven's most notable sonatas: No.1 (Op. 2/1), No. 13 (Op. 27/1), No. 21 (Op. 53), and No. 24 (Op. 78). These sonatas were hand-picked for their distinct qualities and are sure to deliver a vibrant and electrifying musical experience to all those in attendance.
